OutYaGo Mountain Gear is the highest gear store in North America.  Located at 10,578' in historic Alma, Colorado, OutYaGo is a small store with a big heart.  We currently have our favorite items for sale online now and plan to add more items later. Our 'brick and mortar' store is packed to the ceiling with brand name gear goodies for your hiking, camping, fishing, back country snow sports, rock or ice climbing adventures.  We are proud distributors of Sherpa Adventure Gear, OR, MSR, Alpina, LaSportiva, Big Agnes, Sierra Designs, JetBoil, SteriPen, Black Diamond, Brunton, Garmin, Smart Wool, Osprey, Dakine and more.  If we don't have it in stock, ask about our special order policy!

We also have mountain safety electronics, survival instruments, optics, soft goods to layer, accessories and footwear.  Our employees all love the outdoors and the gear and will strive to provide you with excellent service and advice to get you on the go!  Since our space is limited, we work closely with our product representatives to bring you the highest quality and best priced gear on the market.  We do the research for you!   

We are just 16 miles south of Breckenridge and offer competitive pricing with no mountain markup.  Alma is close to a dozen 13 and 14er peaks including the famous "three bagger" Bross, Democrat and Lincoln.

Looking for something more leisurely?  Then explore the Paris Mill right outside of town or take a drive up to see the 1000-year old bristlecone pine forest and enjoy the amazing views of Summit and Park Counties.  And don't forget to check out the unique and fun stores and restaurants in Alma and nearby Fairplay.

Park County is abundant with hiking, biking and riding trails, gold medal fishing water as well as historic mining sites and lots of wildlife.  Every summer Fairplay and Alma host weekend long music and craft festivals with great fun and good food.  And don't forget the annual llama race in Fairplay and burro race to the top of Mosquito Pass.  We are less than a 2 hour drive from the heart of Denver, so come up and join in the fun!
